The Thief series is 14 years old today

Here should be a video, the youtube channel hosting the video is closed due copyright violation. :(

At first it felt like as if no time has passed since last years anniversary of LookingGlassStudios (RIP) cultfollowing videogame Thief – The Dark Project and my anniversary review for it. That just a proves that the series is still a most remembered piece of fine 90s PC game art. Another reason might be the very active youtube channel of ThiefOffical that keeps the memory of the series in our minds. Furthermore we have the fact that SquareEnix now owns the rights to the famous franchise in their archives. From time to time occurring information leaks let us fans dream of the release of a fourth game in the series pretty soon. And if SquareEnix is smart enough, and Deus Ex Human Revolution and the upcoming Tomb Raider game show how smart they are then they gonna release the WIP Thi4f around the 15th anniversary. A man can dream, but a developer needs to accomplish.

  1. Thank you for featuring ThiefOfficial. A thing that you should understand it’s that the channel may not be around forever after the not one,but two copyright strikes on the Thief comics (also lost the rights to upload videos over 15 minutes and even publish unlisted videos). You can read more about it on facebook. Also this puts the channel at risk now. One more strike and all the content may disappear from youtube. It’s all safe in my hard drive and backup external hard drive in case that happens.Still i’ll keep going, but the content will not be as much as before.Just wanted to let you know.

    Thank you again,Spirescu Andrei.
