My Gaming System of Choice is the Playstation3 and the PC. Why? I own a X360 too and soon discovered that the amount of games that get released for it are simply not my taste. I am no fan of time wasting multiplayer matches against players around the world. And the X360 is he ultimate platform for online gaming. Even the many great indie games couldn’t keep me interested. I don’t own a Wii, since I always hated Nintendos child and family gaming oriented concept. The amount of great mature games on Wii almost is zero to me. Well, why are these two systems so special to me?
Why Do I like the PS3 then? It’s simple: Playstation always got the games that I wanted to play! The offer grow gigantic over the years. PS3 got the best exclusives and the best looking games to my taste. Playstation is my Gaming System of Choice.
Why do I like the PC then? It’s too simple. PC gaming got the most value factor. Once PC games got released and when they are good, then millions of producers, fans, and nerds start modding for their beloved game. Improving whatever they can. The Amount of Mods for games is three times larger (personal feeling) than the amount of released games. It all starts with a PC. The idea, the design, the execution. It doesn’t matter if a game is made for console, mobile fon, I-pad or PC. The PC is the spring that allows to create all this magic worlds, stories, characters and our way of living. PC is my Gaming System of Choice.
If you want to know the future of gaming, buy a PC. That thing on your desk is a crystal ball. – Ken Levine
