Good News for EVERY german gamer that is not very into the whole censorship and banned thing. Resident Evil 2 and 3 are no longer banned in our country. The source states:
“It’s a big surprise for many readers that after 16 and 14 years, all three titles are gone from the index.”
The great deal even is, both games get a 16+ rating AND got released totally uncut on german PSN store for 9,99 EUR each. A 16+ rating for two totally uncensored games is a gigantic surprise indeed. Capcom did a fast move, putting the US versions online, which means there won’t be any german subtitles available. But honestly, every german gamer that didn’t learned at least some english in the last 10 years seemed to be living under a rock.
And there is more. Even Code Veronica is no longer banned. Maybe there is a chance that the HD re-releases of RE4 and CV will soon be available to buy in germany too.
