As I read what day 7 is about, the first couple that came into my mind was the following. With all the gaming couples that accompanied my gaming life, these two guys are my most memorable. Both are friends but rivals at the same time. Both love the fist fight and money. Much money! They always try to beat each other in combat. Thank you Forest Law and Paul Phoenix for entertaining me with your funny relationship a whole decade long.
They’re relationship is not very clear. The manual of some Tekken games suggest that Forest and Paul met each other somehwere in the Streets. Marshal was raised in the Dojo of his father Marshal, which was a lead character in the first two Tekken games. But Marshal didn’t allowed his son Forest to use his fighting skills in illegal Fist Fights on the Streets.
Literally nothing is known about Pauls past. We just know that he always walks around with his iro haircut, raising his fist and screaming things like “I am the best Fighter in the World!”. Too much ego, I guess.
In Tekken 3, Paul convinced Forest to take on in the Iron Fist Tournament to get a nice big amount of cash. Since then they always want to decide in combat, who’s the better fighter. Their rival almost ever ends with both getting knocked out together in a fight between them. The only reason for me in beating their Story-Modes always was to see how hilarious their double K.O.’s are.
