A Unknown asked: How i should start making LP and stuff? Give us some tips.
This may be the most asked question by newcomers that are interested in starting own Lets plays. As I got asked it this time again, I had to separate between Equipment Requirements and Personal Requirements. There are many guides for to find in the world wide web and I was always too lazy to write my own. Especially if it comes to explain what tool ans equipment to use. I want to answer the question by this unknown source how I would to any other that asked. And there are a lot of guys asking for the same thing, you know?
Equipment Requirements

The first one is an Equipment and Setting up guide which is focused on Console Recording (XBox, PS3) as well as render-settings, written by skorch82.

Personal Requirements
Last but not least, lets talk about the Personal Requirements for making Lets plays. I have seen many guys with potential that made some very amazing videos but disappeared again. Others still continuing uploading videos to the world wide web, with minor, sometimes no success in low video quality. Then there we have people like myself, that always want to feature the best experience to their audience. For me is Lets playing an addicted hobby. Whenever I get asked how to start, then I always give the same answer:
Start with your most loved game, equal how much people already made Lets plays for. Lets playing can be seen like free-art. You have to play, capturing footage and talk what comes to your mind. Make your jokes equal how stupid they are. Even if you think that you are the only person on this planet that likes your jokes. You will always find out that you´re not. Lets playing also means to play as good as you can. You don’t need to be an expert in the games you play. This leads me to “DONT CUT IT OUT”.
Sometimes you will die, don’t cut it out! Unless you died 30 times in a row. Sometimes you say something very stupid, laugh about it and don’t cut it out! In other words, feel free to explore the game’s world and deliver your thoughts and knowledge, dis-knowledge.
The most important personal requirement for me is: Dont try to be someone else that does Lets plays, too. Don’t copycat your idol! Be yourself while making commentary. The world needs only one like you. Be that one!
