All the facts on this page are written by myself, because I own the PC-versions and played them a lot in the past and sometimes today. It may not be different from what you can learn by visiting other sites, except for my informations being true.

- The PC port features true graphics acceleration resulting into sharper edges and higher detail on characters.
- The PC port includes the uncut intro in color as well as the uncut death-scene of Kenneth.
- Jill does not need to use Ink-Ribbons to save her progress in the PC port.
- The PC port completed in under 3 hours rewards Chris and Jill with two exclusive Sub-Machine Guns and infinite ammo.

Resident Evil (PC) Patch (Download)

This is the official Resident Evil PC-Version patch. It is supposed to add a new graphics driver to the selection screen as far as I know. It did not worked for me, but it may work for you. Its untested.

Facts about Resident Evil 2 PC-Version

- The PC port includes a Battle Mode with Ada Wong and Chris Redfield as playable characters

The PC port features an extra menu and automatically adds new content to it when the player encounters things while playing through the scenarios. This makes the PC port to the most advanced one ever releases of this game.

The Extra Menu on the CD-ROM for Leon features:
- A Gallery with Rough Sketches
- A Movie Viewer to watch all animated cut scenes

The Extra Menu on the CD-ROM for Claire features:
- A Gallery with Illustrations
- A Movie Viewer to watch all animated cut scenes
- A Model Viewer to watch all character and monster models

Resident Evil 2 (PC) Patch 1.4 (Download)

This is the official Resident Evil 2 PC-Version patch 1.4. It works perfectly and adds a new graphics driver to the selection screen. It unlocks the Battle Mode without the need of completing both scenarios, too.
